Communicating Across Asia

Being a great communicator in New York, London or Sydney doesn't necessarily make you a great communicator in Singapore, Tokyo or Jakarta. Across Asia, differences in culture, hierarchy, media expectations and communication styles can dramatically change how a message is received—and a well-intentioned comment can easily be misunderstood.

This course helps global leaders navigate those differences with confidence. Participants learn how to adapt their communication for different Asian markets, understand direct and indirect communication styles, work effectively with media and government stakeholders, handle difficult questions and communicate during a crisis.

 

Because in Asia, knowing what to say is only half the equation. Knowing how, when and to whom to say it can make all the difference.
